From 2006 to 2010, I was a councillor for Lee Green ward in the London Borough of Lewisham. During that time, I blogged regularly and in 2009 I won the Tim Garden Award for the Best Blog by a Liberal Democrat Holding Public Office. The following people are making an appearance at the Manor House over the next few weeks:
- On Saturday 6th June, Kevin Graal has stories and rhymes for all the family. This takes place at 10.30 and then again at 11.30. Children under 8 must be with an adult
- On Tuesday 16th June, Axel Scheffleler, illustrator of The Gruffalo will be making an appearance and will have signed copies of his books for sale. That’s from 3.20pm until 4.30pm
- On Tuesday 25th June, Claire Seeber, author of Bad Friends will be at a special reading group session from 2.15pm until 3.15pm.
