From 2006 to 2010, I was a councillor for Lee Green ward in the London Borough of Lewisham. During that time, I blogged regularly and in 2009 I won the Tim Garden Award for the Best Blog by a Liberal Democrat Holding Public Office. My blog posts from my term of office are archived here in case they prove of use to former constituents, or to those who share my annoyance with faulty street furniture
Some great news – Supermaket Shakespeare is coming back to Sainsbury’s at Lee Green. You might remember their performances last year and the rave reviews they received from local councillors (amongst others!)
This year, there are shows at Lee Green Sainsbury’s as follows:
- Tuesday 21st April 7pm
- Wednesday 22nd April 7pm
- Thursday 23rd April 7pm
- Friday 24th April 7pm
- Saturday 25th 12pm & 6pm
- Sunday 26th 12pm & 3pm
It’s completely free to attend and you don’t need to book – just turn up. This time all the characters come from Shakespeare’s Sonnet number 91.
