From 2006 to 2010, I was a councillor for Lee Green ward in the London Borough of Lewisham. During that time, I blogged regularly and in 2009 I won the Tim Garden Award for the Best Blog by a Liberal Democrat Holding Public Office. My blog posts from my term of office are archived here in case they prove of use to former constituents, or to those who share my annoyance with faulty street furniture
The NHS are holding health fairs during March and April to talk to people about plans to make changes to stroke and major injury care in the capital. Apparently, the plan is to develop new world-class trauma networks and specialist stroke services to save lives and reduce disability.
The Lewisham health fair is on March 16th from 9am until 4pm at University Hospital Lewisham. Local healthcare and ambulance staff will be on hand to talk to you about the consultation. There are more details about the consultation on this website and details of the helath fairs can be found here. If you want to speak to someone, the number is 0808 238 6481
