From 2006 to 2010, I was a councillor for Lee Green ward in the London Borough of Lewisham. During that time, I blogged regularly and in 2009 I won the Tim Garden Award for the Best Blog by a Liberal Democrat Holding Public Office. This weekend and next sees Lee Green Open Studios 2008. Check out the website for details of the artists who are displaying their work this year and of the supporting events.
I really enjoyed last year’s event and we managed to use it to do some early Christmas shopping, too! I’m quite busy this weekend, so I’m planning to visit at least some of the artists during the second weekend.
