Lee Station – path to be resurfaced

From 2006 to 2010, I was a councillor for Lee Green ward in the London Borough of Lewisham. During that time, I blogged regularly and in 2009 I won the Tim Garden Award for the Best Blog by a Liberal Democrat Holding Public Office. My blog posts from my term of office are archived here in case they prove of use to former constituents, or to those who share my annoyance with faulty street furniture

We’ve heard from SouthEastern that the footpath at Lee Station from the Sidcup-bound platform down to Burnt Ash Road is to be resurfaced tomorrow between 9am and 4pm.

This is great news, as it’s been in quite a state for some time, and was raised by several people in our Lee Station rail user’s survey earlier this year.

One Response to Lee Station – path to be resurfaced

  1. Barbara Polanski says:

Glad path is to be resurfaced however the lighting on the downward ramp is very poor as you approach the middle nearer to the bottom ,as there is no lightoing fo the actual ramp, could there be another overhead light put in?
