Hi Barbara, we live in Southbrook as well. Unfortunately, we feel that it is a quiet residential street no more; it's become a rat-run which is not helped in the least by buses roaring up and down.

We are also totally opposed to fixed bus stops, since, if we really must have the 273 imposed on us, the hail & ride seems to work. Very recently, an earlier agreement between TFL & Lewisham Council - stating that no bus stops would be located outside residential properties - has been changed WITHOUT CONSULTATION with residents. We've not even been informed, only found out by accident. The upshot of that is that they are trying to build a bus stop right outside our homes (it affects 3 houses). Apart from the noise & pollution, we will have to put up with people just a few yards away peering into the front of our home, possibly chucking litter and so on.

I live on Southbrook Road. I object to the proposal for any permanent bus stops in our road.

I would now like to add an objection to a bus shelter. The numbers of people using the bus stop would not warrent it. It is not appropriate in this quiet residential street.
